Driving / Transportation Information
Expectations:
- Drivers will practice the utmost care and respect for the safety of those they transport (No phone usage or distracted driving).
- Drivers will transport students to and from the host home, Parkwood Baptist Church, and mission sites throughout the weekend.
- Drivers will NOT be required to stay at the host home overnight, but will be asked to remain at Parkwood and the mission sites for the duration of the meetings.
Expectations:
- At least one host home adult is required to be on the premises any time the students are present, which will mainly include the night time hours.
- You must be a member of the church and consent to a background check.
- Ensure there is enough available space to safely sleep at least 8 students with sleeping bags.
- Provide a space for 2 adult small group leaders in a separate room from the students.
- Prepare breakfast on Saturday morning and dinner on Saturday night for the appointed times on the 180 Weekend schedule (TBA). Food can be home-made or catered.
- Practice hospitality toward these students, recognizing that some of them may not be believers yet.
- There will be two adult small group leaders present to lead small group discussions, enforce quiet hours, and help care for and chaperone your group.
If this is a new host home, the student pastor will schedule a time to check out the space ahead of 180 weekend.
